What is Skin Glow (GHK-Cu)?

This peptide supports the natural processes of tissue renewal and repair, directing cells to produce more structural proteins and to reduce signs of “wear” in their surrounding environment.

Mechanism of action

In preclinical systems GHK-Cu is associated with changes in transcriptional profiles related to collagen synthesis, metalloproteinases and tissue repair; functionally this is interpreted as a modification of copper-dependent signaling, redox status and ECM remodeling. Important for experimental design: the effects are highly context-dependent (cell type, serum, oxygen, available copper) and should be controlled with appropriate negative/positive controls and chelators when needed.
